Player Code of Conduct

The Fairbanks Women’s Hockey Association is a recreational hockey league. As such, we reserve the right to discontinue your membership in the league and return a prorated fee for the remainder of the season if you do not abide by the following code of conduct.

Be respectful of all participants. This includes: teammates, opposing players, referees, coaches, and spectators.

Play a fair and clean hockey game in the spirit of fun and community building.

Recognize the diverse ability levels of players within our league. More skilled players should strive to be mentors to newer players. Targeting of other players with the intent to injure will result in immediate dismissal from the league.

Remember that the mission of our league is for everyone to learn and enjoy the game of hockey.

Abide by all arena guidelines. Be aware that each arena (Big Dipper, UAF, Polar Ice) may all have different guidelines.
