2024-2025 Scholarship Program
FWHA is pleased to host two scholarship programs to support girls and women in the Fairbanks community! Each year we will give scholarships (up to $1000 for dues/gear/travel) to two age-8 and up girls that need help to play hockey. We will also provide one scholarship good for FWHA league fees to one adult female player. These scholarships are need based and will require a recommendation or letter of hardship. No financial evidence is needed. The scholarship period will be open in early to mid August and scholarships awarded late in the month.
Ages
Girls Scholarship- 8 and older
Women's League Scholarship- 18 and older

Apply online between August 1-15.
Committee evaluation
The FWHA Scholarship Committee will evaluate all scholarships for accuracy and need. They will then choose amongst the eligible applicants based on their statements. Applicants are welcome to apply even if they have received a scholarship in the past.
